Your Guide to Taurus Season: April 19 - May 20
Radical Receiving, Nervous System Repair, and the Art of Being Full (Welcome to Taurus Season)
First a brief postmortem on how I’ve been doing during Aries season.
Personally for me, the past few weeks was roughhh. I found myself picking up on so much collective rage. I felt the anger cramping with knots underneath my shoulder blades, even my jaw and tooth ached. I found it took more effort to be patient with myself. I also had to advocate more for my health, when it came to speaking with my psychiatrist and dealing with some serious side effects on a new medication I wasn’t too happy to be put on. I developed a full body rash from being allergic to the medication. My skin literally felt like it was on fire, and itchy. The side effects left me disoriented and frustrated too. It felt like both Aries and Pisces were colluding to loosen up the mirrored boundary between my pain and everyone else’s.
Aries season made the psyche of the human spirit catch on fire in both the home front and also on the world’s stage. With mars in cancer taking away any energy to fight/think/feel properly our way through conflict, everything that took place in the news felt like an emotional turf battle.
Especially with the United States’ administration flooding of unconstitutional actions causing massive economic shifts to occur on a geopolitical level. Aries was so angry, and Pisces was so confused.
People are feeling inflamed right now on both sides of the spectrum. Aries is the warrior, the activist, the fighter in the wheel of life. Venus and mercury’s recent retrograde had us also grieve connections due to personal values no longer aligning. The retrogrades blurred the lines between advocacy and just plain heartbreak. It’s tense, emotionally bittersweet.
Because the dance between Pisces and Aries shows us that sometimes it’s also possible to love and hate someone at the same time. Some of us were dumbfounded by finding ourselves drawing lines in relationships that use to once feel like lifelines. That more than likely came down last weekend during the Full Moon in Libra whilst we also had Sun conjunct Chiron making the sting of the wound hard to ignore.
And just as Aries came like a bulldozer, it left with so much rubble and collateral damage in it’s wake. The silver lining to Aries season is that it also helped us identity what we’re willing to fight for.
Taurus Season Timeline (April 19 - May 20th)
So enter Taurus season. When I looked at the chart the day the Sun ingresses into Taurus, I had to laugh.
I highlighted only the Sun aspects in the view-finder so it’s easier to see that it forms an exact square to both mars in leo & pluto in aquarius. That’s a fixed t-square. Taurus wants to rest and replenish it’s energy. It wants to bask in good food, creature comforts. It doesn’t wanna fight. It wants to take it slow.
But the astrology says nah.
Because mars finally found it’s backbone in leo. It’s no longer content to cry about it in Cancer. Pluto wants you to challenge broken systems, challenge the establishment in the name of collective progress. And can you blame Taurus? Aries season felt so energetically dense, of course Taurus wants to just breathe and remember what it feels like to enjoy life again. It wants bread and cheese on the couch.
So yeah, there’s a push and pull inner conflict we may feel here. Taurus season starts crunchy. It may feel guilty for enjoying life. But also angry because the rest is necessary since the collective feels a bit fried right now (even though the fight just got started).
Taurus season: “Am I abandoning the cause if I choose rest over rage?”
It’s a very 2025 kind of crisis: guilt over pleasure, exhaustion from caring, resentment from being told we have to keep fighting. Especially when the last season felt like a spiritual boxing match.
Barely a week later on April 26th, we have mars opposing pluto (which has already been applying since when we entered this season). I don’t like this aspect at all. If there’s any day/weekend this season I’d recommend laying low, it would be this one.
If you look below, I’ve listed key events that will occur during Taurus season as a quick glance overview.

How to Ground Into Taurus Season
A lot of you messaged me after the Aries season write-up saying how much you appreciated the 3-phase format — that it made things feel more digestible, less overwhelming. So we’re keeping that structure for Taurus season.
Overall I think Taurus season will teach us that we can be both radical in our rest and pleasure, as well as knowing when to stand up and fight. Because without rest and pleasure, there’s no energy in the fight.
And without any fighting, we get lost in senseless pleasure. And the extreme of that is being out of touch with the parts of the world where hedonism is privilege. This taurus season in particular will teach is rest is an act of necessary self-repair.
Here’s the main lesson with Taurus season:
You’re learning to rebuild your relationship with energy, rest, experiencing pleasure, how you spend it, how you protect it, and what you allow yourself to receive in return. Because without joy, the struggle becomes hollow, meaningless. And without something tender to protect like peace, pleasure, dignity, a future where everyone gets to feel safe in their body…
…what are we even fighting for?

PHASE 1. - April 19 – April 27
You are learning how to rest & be present with yourself without guilt in a world on fire.
April 19 – Sun enters Taurus
April 20 – Venus sextile Uranus / Mercury sextile Pluto / Sun square Mars
April 23 – Sun square Pluto
April 24 – Venus conjunct Saturn
April 26 – Mars opposite Pluto
April 27 – 🌑 New Moon in Taurus (7°46’)
Like I mentioned earlier, we do start the beginning of Taurus season on a crunchier note. Many of us, especially after the psychic burnout of Q1, have forgotten what real pleasure or meaningful rest feels like. Jupiter being in Gemini has not helped as it’s exacerbated the endless scrolling, notifications and how much news or information we receive. Our bodies are holding what our minds haven’t had the space to process.
If you haven’t set conscious boundaries around what you consume, this first phase of Taurus season may feel more like a reset crash than a reset retreat.
Venus conjunct Saturn on the 24th highlights where we are dissatisfied in our lives (It’s a self emotional audit), especially if recently the day to day has been devoid of any pleasure and rest. And nestled between all of this are Pluto squares and oppositions that bring rage, scarcity, and survival patterns to the surface. You may find your sleep disrupted, your fuse shorter than usual, or your sense of safety quietly unraveling. This is Pluto.
This week, I highly recommend taking a “slow consumption approach”, with the news, or with touching base with people that may aggravate you at this time. Instead of refreshing your feed every ten minutes to check what crisis has erupted, set a compassionate boundary with yourself.
Maybe you allow yourself to check the news once every other day for only 10 minutes max. Don’t get so sucked in. Don’t get caught with the sensationalistic spiral that can be detrimental to your nervous system. That way you’re still aware of what’s going on in the world, but you’re not spending your moment to moment in constant edge.
I would also play with the settings on your phone on when you’re available for phone calls, or text messages from family members/friends that can throw your peace of mind totally off the rails.
Let people know: unless it’s urgent, I’ll get back to you within 48 hours. Immediacy is a value we’re learning to deprogram during Taurus season. The Taurus New Moon will create more motivation to prioritize what keeps your body grounded.
And also, I would even block out a day or two before, on, and after April 26th with Mars opposing Pluto to connect back to yourself without having a full schedule if you could help it. This aspect looks especially inflammatory. It can be a collective event that is especially aggressive, or something that personally throws you off especially as it regards to messing with heavy machinery, pushing yourself too hard at the gym (watch out for overexertion!), or driving a car.
PHASE 2. - April 28 – May 11
“You don’t need to become more, you need to become honest about what you actually value.”
April 29 – I’m hosting the live Activate Your Sacred Money Workshop ✨
April 30 – Venus enters Aries
May 2 – Venus conjunct Neptune
May 4 – Pluto stations retrograde
May 5 – Mercury sextile Jupiter
May 6 – Venus sextile Pluto / Mercury conjunct Chiron
May 10 – Mercury enters Taurus
We move into the second act of Taurus season with some improvement on the crunchy energy from the previous week. Venus in Aries and then making a conjunction to neptune will inspire you to lean towards the actions and people that doesn’t put your body on edge, and inspire you to dream bigger.
There’s a reason why when you spend time with others, some people can make you feel super drained, and others can give you a boost of energy a motivation. I would trust how the energy in your body contracts and expands at this time to help you discern how you spend your time with others.
Pluto will station retrograde on May 4th though until October 13th. It’s a 5 month period where we revisit themes of power and control that have been out of balance. Any forms of manipulations from institutions we have normalized may be coming to light from whistleblowers. During this time I see possible pushback, more regulations around the usage of AI, needing to address cybersecurity leaks/vulnerabilities tied to technological overreach, data privacy. There may also be continued development on large-scale conversations around digital consent, intellectual property, and surveillance capitalism.
Because Uranus will also ingress to Gemini on July 7th, I also see massive changes to how we use/boycott certain social media platforms as a form of taking back power (pluto rx).
I do appreciate Mercury sextiling Jupiter on May 5th. This aspect feels like the words, conversations that needs to be had arrives at the right time. It may help you make more empowered choices moving forward so bookmark this date.
Also! On April 29, I’ll be hosting the Activate Your Sacred Money workshop. We’re gathering right as this new moon energy settles, and before the astrology opens a deeper conversation about abundance, intimacy, and power. Taurus season is the perfect time to do a self-energetic audit/check-in with the stories we tell ourselves about money, self-worth, and being in a state of receiving. I hope to see you there!
Overall, during this period from April 28th to May 12th, you’re rearranging your entire value system based on what you choose to participate in and omit as a form of self-preservation.
You decipher that forms of abundance that can be self-resourced and that helps you take back power and your emotional autonomy in a world that constantly asks you to outsource it.
PHASE 3. - May 12 – May 20
“If you’re asking for more, you also have to become the person who can receive it without rejecting it when it arrives.”
May 12 – 🌕 Full Moon in Scorpio (22°12’)
May 17 – Uranus cazimi (27°17 Taurus) / Mercury square Mars
May 18 – Jupiter square lunar nodes / Jupiter sextile Chiron
May 20 – Sun sextile Saturn / Sun enters Gemini
There’s a lot of clarity that will be had during the last leg of Taurus season, especially when there’s a Full Moon in Scorpio. This full moon isn’t a joyride though, it may involve some tears and having to confront some challenging emotions, realizations that rises to the surface. But a necessary excavation nonetheless. Because Taurus and Scorpio are oppositional archetypes, you may be letting go aspects of what you thought you once were that use to hold a lot of value for you.
That can be especially jolting and challenging. You may have to grieve a version of you that feels like a significant energetic death.
A uranus cazimi not even a week after the full moon is that jolt of information, or insight that can make you change your initial plans. I say this because we have mercury squaring mars. You may have to do a double take on a planned action now that you’re receiving this new information.
Because Jupiter will be squaring the nodes the next day, then make a sextile to Chiron, you’re karmically being confronted with trusting in a plan that is still in the early process, the entire roadmap isn’t quite clear yet. You’re being invited to trust the process and let go of what in your mind’s eye you think it critically needs to be (South Node in Virgo).
I would invite you to not rush through any major decision making. Wait a couple days. I do like May 20th because the sun will sextile saturn here before moving into gemini. Saturn will ground any commitments you make. It may be a long term project or game plan that requires many months (possible a couple years) to see any fruit.
➡️ For creative and business owners
May 2–6
With Venus conjunct Neptune (May 2) and Venus sextile Pluto (May 6), you're being asked to refine how your values show up in your brand, your offerings, and the way you hold space through your work.
Venus + Neptune will ask: What are you romanticizing in your business that no longer holds weight? Where have you been selling a version of yourself that feels dreamy but disconnected from your present truth?
This is your opportunity to clear the fog around your sacred biz.
Revisit your offerings. Do they still match the version of you that exists now? What parts of your brand have become beautiful cages? If you're finding yourself craving simplicity, clearer containers, or more honest pricing — listen.
By the time Mercury conjuncts Chiron on May 6, you may receive insight around old visibility wounds or money stories that have kept you playing small. Don’t rush to repackage or perform. Instead, use this window to strengthen the energetic spine of your business, your messaging, your voice, your values.
📝 Creative Integration Exercise:
Revisit your About page, your bio, or the “Why” behind your latest offer.
Highlight the parts that still feel alive. Cross out what feels performative or outdated.
Ask: If I could only say one sentence about what I do and why it matters, what would it be?
May 10–12: Tangible Creative Strategy + Long-Term Planning
As Mercury enters Taurus on May 10 and the Scorpio Full Moon rises on May 12, it’s time to move from vision to embodiment.
This is a brilliant time to:
Map out a pricing shift or aligned revenue structure
Rework how you receive money in your business (and how it feels when you do)
Create sustainable content schedules or launch timelines that honor your nervous system
What you create now has the potential to become a long-term, soul-aligned foundation.
➡️ If you’re in a career transition:
April 30–May 6
With Venus entering Aries on April 30 and Venus conjunct Neptune soon after, the desire to leap into something new can feel urgent. Slow it down because you can be prone to moving too fast.
Use this week to clarify:
What part of you is seeking recognition vs. what part of you is seeking fulfillment?
Are you chasing a title, or building a life?
Pluto retrograde (May 4) will start offering deeper insights into the ways you may have unconsciously given away your power in previous jobs or career decisions. You may receive sudden clarity around a pattern of overgiving, undervaluing your time, or accepting roles out of survival rather than sovereignty.
May 6 (Mercury conjunct Chiron) could bring up old wounds around communication or rejection, especially if you’ve been afraid to ask for what you need in work environments. It’s a good day for quiet journaling, brave emailing, or rewriting your resume from a place of what you want, not just what you’ve done.
May 12: Scorpio Full Moon
This Full Moon may spotlight what needs to be released so that you can step into fuller self-trust in your professional life. It could be a project, a collaborator, an outdated identity, or even a belief that you’re “too late” to start over.
Don’t rush decisions, but do allow truth to surface.
Taurus season is about choosing your stability, your peace, and your power, and trusting that when you honor your pace, the right opportunities will appear & stick.
